McDEVITT, Mary Elizabeth Age 95, of Dorchester, passed away peacefully, on Wednesday, February 26, 2025. Beloved daughter of the late Mary (Doherty) and John McDevitt. Devoted sister of the late Helen (McDevitt) Cahill and Sister Susan McDevitt. Loving aunt of Mary Beth Cahill and Steve Champlin of Washington, DC, Ed and Mary Ann Cahill of Northborough MA, Joseph Cahill of Walpole, MA and Mary Cahill of Foxborough, MA, Michael and Elaine Cahill of Medway MA, Ann and David Castagnetti of Bethesda, MD and Clare and Paul Serrantino of Cromwell, CT. Also survived by many cherished great-nieces and nephews, great-great-niece and nephews and extended family and friends who Mary loved. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, March 4, at Saint Gregory's Parish, 2223 Dorchester Ave., Dorchester, at 10:00 AM. Interment in Mount Benedict Cemetery, West Roxbury. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
