I still can´t believe this. Matt was always someone I knew without a doubt would make me laugh and would always be genuine. He was a very special guy. He wasn´t like the rest. He had a kind heart and soul. Almost too kind for this world.
I´ll never forget the laughs I shared with him in my 10th grade science class. I can hear his laughter right now. He is truly missed. I hope that Matt can feel the smile he continues to put on my face when I think of him.
I know his spirit lives on.

My heart broke when I heard the news of your son passing. I have known Matt since 6th grade and we became great friends. He was always there to help out and make me laugh. He will be very missed.

He was a wonderful friend who shaped my life in many ways. His positive and upbeat influence, and multiple adventures we went on - created the person I am today.
