My original post in November never went through, so here I go again. Matt, from the moment I met you it's like we never stopped talking, day and night. You helped me so much throughout the years and I wish I could thank you for that. You were my bestfriend and I'll never stop loving you, I'll always cherish our late night memories where we were so tired we could barely form a sentence. Our sarcasm matched so perfectly, all the constant playful bickering that no one else really understood. Thank you for being such a big part of my life, I'll never meet another person who even compares to you. Until we meet again 'Kit-kat', I will love you forever.

Matt, I can't begin to explain what an impact you have been on my life. I only knew you through the internet, but I really felt like you were by my side everyday for the past five years. You always could put a smile on my face, you could put a smile on anyone's face, that's just who you were. You had the best personality, you were so accepting, and that's what I really loved about you. I am truly so grateful to have known you and saw you grow. You will always be in my heart, I love you.

Matt / Ghost / Dire, whatever you went by, you were beloved by everyone. You always smiled and accepted everyone with open arms, no matter how indifferent they were. I knew you the longest out of everyone of your newer friends, and over the past 5 years we've become just like brothers. I wish we got a chance to ride together like we had planned. In your memory, I plan to get your name tattoo'd on my body along with a wolf. You'll always be engraved in my skin, and in my heart. Love you buddy.

So, I haven't known Matt for that long. However, when we had spoke, we also watched movies consisting of many different genres, and he would always enlighten the mood through jokes or sweet comments. He was a friend, and I wish I got to know him more than I really did - one thing I did know though, was that he had an extraordinary personality. He still does; embedded in the hearts of those who love him, and that will never fade, not for an hour, not for a minute, not for a second.

I haven't known Matt for the longest time, only a few months, but I have had some of the best memories and most fun and happy times spent with him. I would talk to him with a few others pretty much every day. I'm sad to see Matt pass, I will forever remember him. May he rest in peace and never be forgotten.

While our interactions consisted only through the internet and games, our friendship wasn't any less real or meaningful. To me, Matt was a person who'd accept anyone and everyone, without judgment, and I really admired that. He was never the one to start conversations, but on rare occasions when he did, he was the life of the party. I never got to tell him, but through his actions and words, I viewed him as a role model, and I wished that one day I'd be able to meet him on equal footing. Matt changed me, and I will forever carry him as a role model.

I only knew Matt for a couple months, but the time we spent playing games was probably the most fun I've ever had. He was one of my closest internet friends and we talked pretty much every day. It's sad to see him go, I'll always remember him and hold him close in my heart. May he rest in peace.

Matt was an amazing person. He was very kind to me and joked around a lot. I loved everything about him. He was definitely one of the most important people in my life. We only knew each other for a few months, but in that time I grew to care for him very deeply... even throughout our distance. He was one of the best people that I knew, and probably will ever know. He made me beyond happy when nobody else really has. I can't imagine loving anyone else as much as I loved you. I will forever miss you, my love <3. I'm sorry for everyone's loss.

I'd like to think I knew Matt even if the extent of our friendship consisted mainly of playing video games over the internet. He was that friend that you could talk just about anything with. He was so mature and trustworthy that even being as stubborn as myself it was nearly impossible to argue with him because he was so level headed. I hope his family will be comforted in this time by knowing that his memory will live on with all of those that he left behind.
