HELLER, Max L. 89, of Brookline, formerly of Brooklyn, NY, on Thursday, October 2, 2008. Beloved husband of Minnie L. (Glazerman). Devoted father of Barry D. Heller and his wife Gail of New Hampshire and Mitchell H. Heller and his wife Debbie of Massachusetts. Dear grandfather of Erika Gottlieb, Jeremy Heller, Tovah Heller and Jennifer Stevens. Dear great grandfather of Kaela and Shayna Gottlieb. Services at the Levine Chapel, 470 Harvard Street, BROOKLINE on Friday, October 3, at 12. Interment at the Chevra Shaas Cemetery, Baker Street, West Roxbury. Shiva will be at his late residence. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to Brigham & Women's Hospital, Development Office, 116 Huntington Ave., 5th Flr, Boston, MA 02116 or Congregation Kehillath Israel, 384 Harvard St., Brookline, MA 02446. I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Cousin Max. My sincerest condolences to the family. Max was a great person. He and my parents, Max and Rita, kept in touch for many years. I also have fond memories of Max's parents, Nathan and Peppy.

I had the privilege of being Max's next-door neighbor from my early teens until my late 20's and he was a special person. I will always remember his wonderful sense of humor. My sincere condolences to the entire family.
