Michael Breen Obituary

Rev. Michael J. formerly of Quincy, December 25 at the Columban Fathers Retirement House in Bristol, RI. Beloved son of the late John and Bridget (Brennan) Breen. Brother of Sister Josephine Breen, Sisters of Mercy Community, San Diego, CA. Eileen Brennan, Dublin, Ireland & the late Rev. Maurice Breen. Also survived by several nieces, nephews & Columban friends. Funeral Mass at St. Agatha's Church, Milton Saturday morning, December 29 at 11:30. Visiting hours at the Alfred D. Thomas Funeral Home, 326 Granite Ave., MILTON on Friday, 4-8 PM. Father Breen was assigned to Mission work in the Philippines, California, Texas andthe last 15 years at the Columban Mission Center in Quincy, where he worked tirelessly on mission education & pastoral ministry in parrishes & nursing homes until his retirement due to poor health earlier this year. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to the Columban Fathers Missions, 310 Adams St, Quincy, 02169. Alfred D. Thomas Funeral Home 1-617-696-4200

Fr. Breen was our Chaplain of the Norwood Irish Music Club. He will be missed by all of us. Fr. Breen was a great man and loved by everyone. May God hold him in the palm of his hand, where he will enjoy peace and everlasting life.
