MICHAEL "MIKE" LOMBARDY

LOMBARDY, Michael "Mike" Longtime resident of Cohasset, MA, most recently a resident of Marshfield, MA, passed away peacefully in his sleep, on July 21, 2024. The most devoted and beloved husband to Barbara Ann Lombardy and the most fun, loving, fearless, loyal and dedicated father to Brooke Conlin Lombardy and Matthew Hughes Lombardy. Adoring and loving father-in-law to Jon Pall Olafsson. Beloved son to Frank and Lannah Lombardy, their great love of the ocean stayed with him always. Exceptionally proudest of all the grandfathers ever, to his sweet granddaughters, Annika and Elin Jonsdottir. Friends to so many who remember his contagious laugh, brilliant mind and unmatched integrity. Graduated with a BA Accounting from University of MD in 1966. Proudly served with Army Reserves, 1966-1972, stateside, during Vietnam. Work history included successful careers at Price Waterhouse, State Street Research, then 30+ years as proud owner of Lombardy and Associates, his consulting company within the mutual fund industry. Mike loved his family, his friends, laughing, sailing and above all else, his love of 63 years, Barbara Ann Lombardy. There will be a private Celebration of Life to honor Mike.
