To The McCarthy Family:
On behalf of my family in Passage West, County Cork, Ireland and I, we were very sad to hear of the sudden death of Barry. He was indeed a very special person, he was as my five year old niece said, when she first met him many years ago, "wicked funny". Barry never forgot where he came from and always visited my dear mother whenever he went back to Ireland. He always took the time out of his busy schedule to think of others.
You are all in our prayers at this most difficult time.
Sincerely,
Merilyn Johnson

Be Still
Be still like the grass on a melancholy summer day
Be still like desert shrub.
Be calm and you will hear your loved one speak, in the stillness, in the calm, their love resounds.
If you are still this promise I make, you will hear the voice of your loved one helping you along your way.

Dear Mary Pat, Michael and Billy,
Still shocked over the news on Barry. My thoughts and prayers are will you all and the Grandchildren.
I have such wonderful childhood memories of Barry coming over to Grove St. to visit Mom & Dad, he always had at least 3 boxes of my favorite Entenmann's chocolate chip cookies with him.
Barry would always make the time to play game of Chutes & Landers with me as well. I am thankful that my Mom & Dad had
such a wonderful friend, all the stories the two "Cork boys" told will forever be with me.
God love you Barry, may you Rest In Peace.
Love,
Maura Curran-Lally

My thoughts and prayers go out to you at this most sorrowful time.
I think about you often and wonder how you are. I can still hear your father's Irish Brogue on Cottage Ave and see him playing football with the kids in the street (his rules of course).
