NANCY O'BRIEN Obituary

O'BRIEN, Nancy (Coyle) Of Chestnut Hill, formerly of Curlea, Curraghboy, County Roscommon, Ireland, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by family, after a lengthy illness on August 15, 2022, at the age of 81. Beloved wife of over 54 years to the late Patrick. Predeceased by her parents: Bernard and Annie (Nolan); brothers: [infant] James, [infant] John, and "P.J." and his late wife Nora; and sister: Helen (O'Keefe) and her surviving husband Alan, all of Co. Roscommon. Loving mother of Patrick and his wife Dyanne, Margaret, John and his wife Kristen, and Stephen and his wife Caroline, all of Chestnut Hill. She will be forever remembered by her family: Michael and his wife Ellen of Braintree, Elizabeth "Betty" Casey and her late husband "P.J." of Co. Longford, Bernard and his wife Bridget of Brighton, Margaret Quinn and her husband Hubert of Brighton, James and his wife Cathy of Brighton, Nuala O'Sullivan and her husband Patrick of Milton, and Kathleen Ryan and her husband Michael of Co. Roscommon; and many loving nieces and nephews. Proud and loving "Grandma" to Patrick, Emily, Aidan, Erin, Katherine, Jack, Thomas, Bailey, and Matthew. Funeral from the Lehman Reen & McNamara Funeral Home, 63 Chestnut Hill Ave. (nr Brighton Courthouse), BRIGHTON, on Friday, August 19th at 9:00am, followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Ignatius of Loyola Church, 28 Commonwealth Ave., Chestnut Hill at 10:00am. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Interment St. Joseph Cemetery, West Roxbury. Visiting Hours on Thursday, August 18th from 4-8pm in the funeral home.
