Nicholas Homsy Obituary

Nicholas Elias, of Westwood, entered into eternal life, Jan. 14, 2002. Mr. Homsy was born in Lebanon in 1919, and lived in the U.S. for the last 15 years. Loving husband of Salime (Azzi). Devoted father of Dr. Farhat Homsy of Brookline, Fouad Homsy of Chestnut Hill, Dr. Georges Homsy of France, Miled Homsy of Westwood, Fadi Homsy of West Roxbury, and May, Maha, and Mona Azzi all of Sydney, Australia. Adored grandfather to 23 grandchildren. Dear brother of Hani Homsy of Montreal, John Homsy and Salwa Ganem of Lebanon, Jeanette Hajj of Brazil, and the late Youssef Homsy. Also survived by several loving nieces and nephews. Funeral Service Thursday at 10 a.m. in the Annunciation Melkite Cathedral, 7 V.F.W. Parkway, Roslindale. Visiting hours in the Cathedral Wednesday 6-9 p.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Nicholas' memory may be made to the Cathedral or to N.E. Baptist Hospital, 125 Parker Hill Ave., Boston, MA 02120. Interment Mt. Benedict Cemetery, West Roxbury.
