NORMAN KRAUSE Obituary

KRAUSE, Norman A. Krause, Norman A. of Brookline, on Monday, July 18, 2022. Husband of the late Barbara (Kaplan) Krause. Beloved father of Joan Krause (Richard Saver) and Diane Krause (Craig Hagan). Adored grandfather of Mikaela Saver, Benjamin Hagan, and Shira Hagan. Dear brother of the late Franklin Krause. Also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews, sisters-in-law, and brother-in-law, all of whom he cherished and regaled with many a story. Norman loved books, classical music, and above all his family. All who knew him will miss his warmth, generosity, and irreverent sense of humor. Graveside services will be held at Sharon Memorial Park, 40 Dedham Street, Sharon, MA on Thursday, July 21, at 9:45 AM. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the Brookline Public Library, c/o Brookline Library Foundation, 361 Washington Street, Brookline, MA 02445 where he spent countless hours among the books he loved, or the Hebrew Rehabilitation Center, 1200 Centre Street, Roslindale, MA 02131. Please honor his memory by thinking of him the next time you are at his favorite place, the ocean. Levine Chapels, Brookline 617-277-8300 www.levinechapel.com

Norm and I worked together at the Corps for quite a while. A great guy. That was quite a while ago, but I remember Norman very well.
