PAUL BRADFORD BENNETT

1955 - 2024

BENNETT, Paul Bradford of Plymouth, MA, died, after a short illness, on January 15, at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston. He is the beloved husband of Linda (Page) Bennett. He was born in Boston, MA on July 31, 1955, son of the late Paul J. H. Bennett and Grace (Donovan) Bennett. Paul was a proud member of the International Union of Operating Engineers, Local 4, where he worked as a heavy equipment operating engineer and he loved his job. He was a very skilled operator and well-respected among his colleagues. Paul was happiest when he was surrounded by his family. His greatest love was his three grandsons, Zachary, Ryland and Jack. He had a love for the water, spending countless hours on his boat in Plymouth Harbor with family and friends. He enjoyed his motorcycle and cars. He could fix anything and was lovingly known as Mr. Fix-it. He was sweet and hilarious. There was never a dull moment with him and he always made his family laugh. Besides his loving wife, Linda; he is survived by his loving daughter, Megan Bennett and her husband, Daniel Shea of Boston; and their sons, Zachary and Ryland. His loving daughter, Erin Cunningham and her wife, Katie Cunningham of Hudson, MA; and their son Jack. He is also survived by his brothers, Richard Bennett and his wife, Theodora of West Yarmouth and William Bennett of Sandwich. His sisters, Beverly Archambeault and her husband, Jayme of Sagamore Beach, Pamela Sciuto of Tarpon Springs, FL and Barbara Archambeault and her husband, Leo David of Sandwich. He is also survived by his sister-in-law, Denise Bennett of Ayer, MA; and many loving nieces and nephews. Paul was predeceased by his brothers, John Bennett and Kevin Bennett; his sister, Joan Aalto and her husband, John; his brother-in-law, Sylvester (Sully) Sciuto. Visiting Hours will be in the Cartmell-Davis Life Celebration Funeral Home, 373 Court St., PLYMOUTH, MA, near Cordage Park, on Monday, January 22, from 4 to 7 pm. The Funeral Mass will be Tuesday, January 23, at 10:30 am, St. Peter's Church, 86 Court Street, Plymouth, MA.
