PAUL H. ROBICHAU

ROBICHAU, Paul H. Of Wenham, 83, passed peacefully on March 20, 2021 at Kaplan Family Hospice House after a brief illness. He was the beloved husband and dance partner of Julia (Laroe) Robichau for 63 years. He was born in Beverly to the late Harold and Florence (McPherson) Robichau. Paul was a 1955 graduate of Beverly High School. Upon graduation, he entered the workforce as an Oldsmobile salesman at Bell Oldsmobile in Bell Circle, Revere. He spent the majority of his career as the General Manager of Time Oldsmobile and co-owner of Time Leasing in Arlington. Paul was an avid Boston sports fan and frequently played golf. He proudly served as the Treasurer of the "Chowda Club" for over thirty years. He loved to share the history of Beverly and recalled the events of his life by the Oldsmobile he was driving at the time. He enjoyed traveling throughout the United States, especially Alaska and Hawaii, as well as internationally. He loved mathematical figures and played countless hours of cribbage with his wife, children and grandchildren. Perhaps his greatest joy, however, was spending summer days hosting BBQ pool parties with his whole family. He is survived by his wife; and two loving daughters, Lauren Seaverns and her husband Garry of Hamilton, Emily Hayes Brock and her husband Peter of Kingston, NH; a sister, Jean Cummings of Beverly; two brothers, Norman and David Robichau of Canoga Park, CA; two granddaughters, Ally Dugan and her wife Alexandra Souris of Salem MA and Hope Seaverns of Berwick, Maine; and three grandsons, James Turner of Hamilton, Cambron and Connor Hayes of Kingston, NH. Visiting Hours will be held on Friday, March 26, 2021 from 10 to 11am at the Campbell Funeral Home, 525 Cabot Street, Beverly.
