PAUL SHEEHAN Obituary

Of Wrentham, MA, formerly of Westwood and Hyde Park, MA, died February 2, 2023. Beloved husband of the late Pauline J. (Walsh) Sheehan for 50 years. Loving brother of Margaret "Peg" Dupill of Quincy, Patricia Hart of Marshfield, Gerald Sheehan of Quincy, and William Sheehan of Norwood. Cherished uncle of Moira Austin Peterson, her husband, David; and daughter, Caitlin of Wrentham. Also survived by many other loving nieces and nephews. Paul was a U.S. Navy Veteran. He was a graduate of BC High, Boston College and Babson College's MBA program. Paul worked for many years as a Physicist at Avco and then on the Space Program at NASA. Later in his career, he co-owned Ansa-Tel Answering Service with his wife. Retired in 2007 after 20 years as an Animal Control Officer in Westwood. Proud to be an active member, he served as President, Past President, and longtime Secretary of Westwood Lions Club where he made lifetime friendships.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Visitation in the Holden, Dunn, and Lawler Funeral Home, 55 High Rock St., WESTWOOD, Monday, February 13 from 9am – 10:30am. Following the Visitation, a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Margaret Mary Church, 845 High St., Westwood, at 11am. Interment with Military Honors at St. Joseph Cemetery, West Roxbury. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Paul's memory to Westwood Lions Club, P.O. Box 432, Westwood, MA 02090.
