I had the privilege of teaching with Paul and his wife, Eleanor, in Korea and on Okinawa in the early 1990s. He was so bright and had a wonderfully wicked dry sense of humor. I have thought of both of them over the years. My sincere condolences, Carol M. Baldwin, PhD, RN, AHN-BC, FAAN

In the early 1960s, Mr. Tedesco was the chairman of the social studies department at Canton High School and my teacher for two years in American and modern European history. He was a great teacher. He showed a sincere interest in my intellectual development and inspired me to major in history in college. I feel a keen sense of loss to learn of his passing. I remember him well with gratitude and appreciation.

I just got the word this morning on Veteran's Day symbolically that my friend and mentor since my first college classes in Japan has died. Prior to beginning his teaching career Paul saw combat during in the Korean War as an Army Rifle Platoon Leader and Company Executive Officer. He is one of the two teacher's I credited in my Master's Capstone with mentoring and inspiring my academic and creative pursuits. He was every bit the personification of "a scholar and a gentleman."
