Peter was not only my dad's high school classmate but they were friends for many years. Pete worked on my dads cars and later my cars. You could not ask for a more honest man, as my dad always said if Pete tells you it needs to be fixed you knew it needed to be. I am blessed to have known him. God bless his family and may he rest in peace knowing he is remembered by many.

No man on the earth was as kind, thoughtful, and loving as dear, Pete.
You'll forever be in my happiest memories of my days at The Cole School.
With love & prayers,

May the God of all comfort provide you with the strength you need to endure the many difficult days and weeks ahead. How we yearn for the day when death will be a thing of the past.

January 13, 2016

Dear Althea & Family, I would like to share with you my fondest memory of Pete. Fresh out of High School, scared, naive, and feeling at the mercy of the world, Pete gave me an opportunity that to this day I will never forget nor can I ever repay.(he wouldn,t let me anyway) After only two years of working with Pete, I left MacDonald Motors with quality's and knowledge that would propell me through life. I'm 60 now and 43 years have passed since. Pete helped shaped me to be the man I've become. He taught me how to learn, that may sound simple, but it's something I still teach my kids. So you see the knowledge I've learned, is a quality that Pete gave me. Sorry for you're loss, Steve & Kate Herget
