PETER F. FRANZOSA

1945 - 2016

FRANZOSA, Peter F. 70, of Milford formerly of Medway, died February 22, at his home following a courageous battle with cancer. He was the husband of Alicia J. (Guedes) Franzosa for the past 46 years. Born in Somerville, July 30, 1945, the son of the late Philip and Mary (Piro) Franzosa, Mr. Franzosa was raised in Somerville and had lived in Medway for 35 years before moving to Milford 5 years ago. Mr. Franzosa was a graduate of Somerville High School and also a graduate of Merrimack College with a B.S. Degree in Accounting. He had been a financial officer for JACO Inc. for 10 years before retiring. He had previously worked for 35 years as a financial officer for the Seilers - Sodexo Company. Following his retirement, Peter became a member of the Ashland Bike Club and took up the game of golf. In addition to his wife he is survived by his sons, Marc Franzosa and his wife Tara of Uxbridge, Michael Franzosa of Milford and Matthew Franzosa and his wife Laurie of Braintree. He is also survived by his siblings Paul Franzosa of Hanover and Nancy Markiewicz of Melrose. Peter is also survived by his grandchildren, Drew, Austin, Elena, Michael, Ryan, Cameron, Avery and Mason. His funeral will be held on Friday, February 26 from the Ginley Crowley Funeral Home (www.ginleyfuneralhomes.com) 3 Barber Street, MEDWAY at 9:15 followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Joseph Church, Medway at 10:00a.m. Burial will be private.
