PHYLLIS MIRLEY Obituary

MIRLEY, Phyllis M. (Brown) Of Winthrop, formerly of Medford, passed away peacefully at home on November 7, 2021. She was 92 years old. Phyllis was the devoted wife of the late John A. Mirley, retired Deputy Chief of the Medford Fire Department. Born in Boston, Massachusetts, on September 15, 1929, she was the beloved daughter of the late Clarence L. Brown and Anna (Urquhart) Brown. Phyllis was a member of the Medford Women's Club for many years. She will be dearly missed. Phyllis is survived by her loving children; Diane Cultrera of Winthrop, John and his wife Doreen Mirley of Weston, Ellen and her husband Jay Walsh of Medford, Larry Mirley and his partner Robert Doris of Winthrop, and Chris Mirley and his husband Arthur Kazianis of Winthrop, grandchildren; Ryan Walsh, Michael Cultrera, Jessica Walsh, and step-grandchildren; Declan and Shae McBride.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association, P.O. Box 7023, Merrifield, VA 22116-7023. At her request, there will be no formal funeral services. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Beals-Geake-Magliozzi Funeral Home, 29 Governors Ave., MEDFORD. Online condolences may be submitted at www.magliozzifuneralhome.com
