To the family of Ralph Chapman,
Ralph and my Mom, Eileen Lividoti, graduated from CHLS in 1941. They didn't know each other then, they said it was because they grew up in different parishes... They connected at Youville and spent quite a few years enjoying their chats about people and places in Cambridge, and of course about all that was happening at Youville.
I was lucky to get to know Ralph, talking with him several times a week when my Mom was with us. When she passed a year ago Ralph and I would often call each other to catch up on the latest news.
Ralph was a fine man, always engaging and pleasant. He will be missed at Youville, and I'm sure even more by his family.
With my deepest condolences,
Eileen Lividoti Hibert

Met Ralph when I was a teenager working at Union Market Station in Watertown.
I'm 49 and we stayed in touch ever since.
I'll miss him but I know the athritis bothered him terribly.
He was never the same after Dot died so I'm glad he can reunite with his True Love.
So long Deputy Chief!!!
