Richard Nicoll Obituary

70 of North Port, Florida formerly of Wilmington MA, passed away April 15, 2007. Richard was born December 4, 1936 in Boston MA. He moved to North Port in 2001. He was an engineer with the Smithsonian Institute for 30 years until his retirement in 1999. He was a member of the United States Air force, Peace Christian Fellowship Church in North Port, past member & trustee of Brookridge Community Church in Andover MA. He is survived by his wife Joan; two sons, Bryan Nicoll of Monson MA, and Timothy Nicoll and wife Tracy of Longmont CO; granddaughter, Heather and grandson Christian Nicoll both of Longmont CO; and 3 nephews Douglas, Paul, and David Hamer all of Massachusetts. Richard was preceded in death by one sister Elaine Hamer. A Celebration of Life service for Richard will be held Saturday, April 28, 2007 at 2:00 pm at the Peace Christian Fellowship Church in North Port. In lieu of Flowers donations may be made to the Peace Christian Fellowship Church/Bldg Fund, 3010 S. Sumter Blvd., North Port, FL 34287 or to TideWell Hospice and Palliative Care/Englewood Office, 12034 N. Access Rd., Port Charlotte, FL 33981.
