RICHARD VALLS Obituary

VALLS, Richard Joseph Of Taunton, formerly of the South End of Boston, Foxboro, Walpole and Norwood, passed away on August 20, 2024, at the age of 85. Beloved husband of Rose Marie (Shaheen) Valls. Devoted father of Laura T. Valls of Foxboro. Brother of the late Sadie DiPasquale and Marion Joslin. Son of the late Vincent and Sarah (Costello) Valls. Uncle of Kirk Joslin of Holliston, Greg Joslin of OK, Lauren Miller of Sutton, Linda DiPasquale of Rockland; and many great-nieces and great-nephews. Also survived by many nieces and nephews on Rose Marie's side. Visiting Hours will be held on Monday, August 26, 2024, from 4-8pm, at the Kraw-Kornack Funeral Home, 1248 Washington St., NORWOOD, MA. Funeral from the funeral home, Tuesday, August 27, 2024, at 10:30am, followed by a Funeral Mass, at 11:30am, at St. Timothy Parish, 650 Nichols Street, Norwood. Burial will be at Highland Cemetery, Norwood, MA. Donations may be made in his name to the Lung Association, 1661 Worcester Road, #301, Framingham, MA 01701. www.lung.org
