Yacoubian, Richard
A resident of Andover, MA died Monday June 17, 2103 at the VA Hospital in West Roxbury, MA. He was born on March 17, 1940 in Cambridge, MA to the late Vasken and Theresa (Nazarian) Yacoubian. He was raised and educated in Cambridge and graduated from Ringe High School. Following High School Richard enlisted in the Navy until his Honorable Discharge in 1961. He was employed by several Boston area Banks as a Manager until his retirement in 2011. Richard was an avid runner and enjoyed his Sunday morning walks with his friends and fellow runners from Cambridge. He also enjoyed fishing and will be remembered fondly as a "Shade Tree Mechanic". Richard is survived by his children, Jayne Dunham of North Andover, Mark Yacoubian and his wife Ana of Weston, FL, David Yacoubian of Nashua, NH and Beth Shnidman and her husband Michael of Kingston, NH, grandchildren, Aubrey, Tess, Brett, Alexandra, Ana Melissa, Arianna, Michael Jr., Adam and Jacob, sister, Gail Russell, and his former wife Barbara Heseltine. He was pre deceased by his sister Miriam Viera. Services for Richard will be private and are under the direction of the Conte Funeral Home, 17 Third St., NORTH ANDOVER, MA 01845. Rich was not only a good neighbor, but a good friend too. He was always ready to offer a helping hand and kept a watchful eye out for our family. Morning coffee, end of the day chats, words of wisdom, and getting to know his family will always be fondly remembered.

Richie was a good neighbor to me when I lived on Center st. I will always appreciate that he offered to help me out...like when he came over with his snow blower, so I wouldn't have to be out there shoveling for hours. I didn't ask, he just did it. He sometimes had a "tough" exterior, but also had a very caring heart. Rest in God's arms now Richie and know you were appreciated!
