To the Fossett family:

No words can ever make anyone feel better at this time of grief and loss. Just wanted to let you know you are in our thoughts and prayers and our sympathy is heartfelt. Bobby was one of the nicest guys we ever met, a gentle giant. Hang in there.

Bobby it is hard to believe that you are gone so soon. We just want to thank you for being our friend and sharing your special gift for laughter. We have so many memories of you and the fun times that we had when we were together. May your family & friends find comfort in remembering the jokes, stories & the many times you made them laugh (and there are many). You will be missed but the memories will always be there.

Bobby will be missed by all of us here @ Revere PD. He was a great guy & dispatcher. He was so easy to get along with & no matter what the call or calls we had and no matter how busy it was @ the Police Station he would make us all laugh & smile. I know I would bust his chops about his vending machines & not having my favorite munchies in them especially when he went away. He will be missed by all of us. Rest in peace my friend.

I had the good fortune of seeing Karen & Bobby at the beginning of December. After 30+ years together, they were still in love -- he loved her the same way he did when I was 12. To have the love, respect, and admiration Bobby had for Karen is what most women only dream of; fortunately for Karen, she did not have to dream, it was reality. I am so sorry for all of you. All my love, Joanie

Bobby was a dear friend to Jim and I and and a loving godfather to our son Jimmy.

We are all heartbroken that he is no longer here with us.

It is difficult for us to imagine life without him.

Words cannot express the depth of our sadness and loss.

We will miss him dearly.

We love him, his family and all our close friends so much.

We pray he is at peace and reunited with loved ones in heaven.

(Bobby "did you hear" how much we love you and miss you)

love,

The Mahoneys

xoxo
