GUARENTE, Robert J. Of Bedford, formerly of Arlington and Harwich, passed peacefully on March 17, 2024, surrounded by his loving family. Born in Boston to the late William A. Guarente and Helen (Leyden). Beloved husband of 62 years to Joan A. (Campbell). Loving father of Laureen Guarente of Harwich, Nancy Richard and her husband, Joseph of Bedford and the late Joyce Roberts-Guarente. Cherished 'Grandpa' of Cody Cagnina, Kyle Cagnina, Brian Butcher, Brant Butcher, Michael Richard, Ryan Richard, Matthew Richard and the late Brendan Sullivan. Dear brother of the late William Guarente. Robert is also survived by many loving relatives and friends. Late Korean Conflict, U.S. Marine Corps Veteran. Visiting Hours will be held in the Keefe Funeral Home, 5 Chestnut Street, ARLINGTON, on Friday, March 22, from 4 to 7PM. His Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Agnes Church, 30 Medford Street, Arlington, on Saturday, March 23, at 11:30am. Burial and Military Honors will follow in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Arlington.
