ROBERT KARP Obituary

KARP, Robert "Bob" 91 years old, of Milton, formerly of Randolph, MA, passed away on March 2, 2021 after a short illness. Devoted husband of over 69 years to Phyllis Karp. Loving father of Michael and his wife Rena of Cohasset, MA, David and Mary Karp of Franklin, MA and the late Judy Karp. Grampy to Juliette, Sarah, Melissa and Matthew. Brother of Melvin Karp and his wife Iris of Florida and his late sister Muriel Deshowitz. Bob grew up in Chelsea, MA, the son of Louis and Anna Karp. After serving in the United States Navy, Bob married his wife Phyllis. Following the Navy, Bob had a very successful career in sales. After living in Brockton, they moved to Randolph in 1967, where they raised their family before moving to Fuller Village in 2010. Bob was an avid fundraiser for the Jimmy Fund and walked the Boston Marathon several times in support. He loved sports and travel, enjoyed going on cruises, dancing, casinos, and was always a lot of fun. Private interment at Sharon Memorial Park.
