I had the pleasure to know Bob and the honor to call him "friend!"
Since meeting "Mr. Levin" (how I always addressed him when we would call each other), he always found the time to grab a quick lunch (they never were quick). We would discuss many things: how to increase business sales, finances, medical issues, restaurants, cellphones, the Boy Scouts, hischildren and grandchildren, cars and the really neat things for the auctions. The sky was the limit on the topics. We even resolved the world's problems over our many dim sum lunches at Chao Chao Restaurant in Dorchester. There wasn't a thing we couldn't resolve over lunch!
Every lunch included Eric and Suzanne. He was SOOO proud of them! Their success and the joy they brought him. I knew! His face glowed every time he spoke of them. He had a twinklein his eyes when he spoke their names which was always followed by a big smile. It was like I was speaking to Santa. If it wasn't for our jobs and time, we could've talked and eaten forever.
He was a man ofincredible knowledge, kind hearted, sincere, thoughtfuland caring.
I will cherish the memories, his wisdom, his smile, his laugh and his love of life.
I will miss you my friend and our amazingfriendship we shared!

Having corresponded via email and then by telephone, when I first engaged Bob about his stamp collection, Scouting and our joint love of the hobby, I knew Bob was an extraordinary person. I knew I had more than friend. I will miss our chats and correspondence but I am blessed that he and I grew to appreciate our interests in common. God rest this man of peace and dedication to family, friends and we all will miss you but we relish in the memories.

Bob, we will miss you. Your dedication, patience and hard work over many years to help provide a library that is suitable for Sharon will always be remembered. You began your commitment even before the Wilbur School project in 1992. That commitment continued for the rest of your life. Bob will be missed by all who hold you dear and whose lives you have made better.
