Father McNulty was a dear friend of my parents, Catherine and Mike DeNoia and Rosalie and Patrick DeNoia as well as the entire DeNoia family. Our years with him at Our Lady of Lourdes will always be cherished. He baptized our children, joined some of our children in Holy Matrimony and helped others to their eternal reward. I'm sure they have met again at the Lord's Table.

Father McNulty was a large presence around the home of Gil & Toni Wagner. They cherished his guidance and enjoyed his friendship over many years. Our prayers and thoughts are with his family.

I remember Father McNulty when I was a child in Cromwell, Connecticut. My mom is 87 and still talks of her good memories of him. My brother was a young altar boy in the early 1960s when he was with us. My family missed him very much when he left us to move on to another parish.

Fr. McNulty counseled my mother through a very difficult period of her life and it was something she never forgot. She was so happy with the Xmas card he would send every year. God bless him as he blessed others.

Dear Family of Father McNulty,
Many people here in Eastern Connecticut were blessed by the priestly presence of Father Bob while he served as Executive Director of Catholic Charities and as Pastor of Our Lady of Lourdes in Gales Ferry, CT. He also served as Norwich Diocesan Priest Moderator of the Diocesan Council of Catholic Women.Last month Catholic Charities honored him with the Flame of Charity Award for his service to thousands.

He was at St. Patrick's when I was a student there which was back in the 60's. He was a wonderful man and liked by all. So sorry to hear of his passing. My prayers to all of his family.
