Robert MOONEY Obituary
He lived in his beloved city of Boston his entire life. He leaves his sisters, Sheila Mooney, Anne and husband, Bill Donovan, Janet Mooney, Susan Mooney; and four nieces, a nephew and great-nephew.
A Celebration of his Life will be at Casper Funeral Services, 187 Dorchester St., SOUTH BOSTON, on Sunday, December 15, 2024, from 11:00 to 1:00p.m. In lieu of flowers, please love a dog today or make a donation to any organization that helps dogs, such as arlboston.org

I just found the notice of Bobby's death on December 2, 2024. I so remember him at Leigh's wedding asking me to dance. What a special person.

Dear Cousins,
My deepest sympathy to the extended Mooney family. My mother always had a special place in her heart for her godson, and wedding ring bearer. I guess I did too. When we worked in the same office Bobby would call out the kid nickname he gave me, "Batman" - with the theme song, and it always made me smile and brightened the morning. May he rest in peace.

Sheila, Janet, Anne & Susan,
Kathy and I want to send our sincere condolences along to you.
Bobby was a wonderful person and a gentle soul. We pray for him and know he´s with God now.
My lasting memory is of him play wrestling with the dog in your kitchen and tussling my hair on his way out the door.He was probably seventeen at the time.
Rest in peace Bobby.
