RUTH CONNORS

CONNORS, Ruth (Dezotell) Of Framingham, passed away on February 2, 2016 in her home, surrounded by her loving family, after an extended illness. She was born, raised and educated in Newton, the daughter of Joseph (Buck) Dezotell and Filomena (Philly Biggieri) Dezotell. Devoted Mother of Darlene, Raymond and Brad Connors, and Phyllis Connors Newton. Adoring Grandmother of Chayna Connors Wilson, Mark, Shane and Drew Newton, Lindsay Connors Schofield and Joseph Corriero-Connors. Great Grandmother of Cullen and Hadley Wilson. Loving Sister of Lucy (Dezotell) and her husband Ed Mitchell. She is also survived by her numerous nieces, nephews and her many beloved much loved cousins. Ruth retired from Boston Children's Hospital in 1999. She was a former Administrative Assistant for The Adolescent Clinic and was very proud and passionate about her work there. What Ruth loved most was spending time with all her family and friends, cooking and being in the company of her constant canine companion, Shadow. A Memorial Mass will be held at Our Lady's Help of Christians Church, 573 Washington Street, Newton, MA, February 13, 2016 at 10:30am, followed by a Happy Remembrance get together at the Post 440, 295 California Street, Newton, MA from 12noon -5pm. All are welcome. In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made in her name to the Pawprints Program at Boston Children's Hospital, 300 Longwood Ave., Boston ,MA 02115.
