Deepest condolences to the Ciccarelli Family for the loss of Sal, a fellow classmate of Watertown High School, Class of 1959.
Sal and I spoke a few times over the years and I always found his kindness and wisdom pleasantly redeeming in a world seemingly removed from such traits of humanity.
May he rest in eternal Peace with Norma..

Dear David, Kate and Stephen,
It's been such a great honor getting to know Sal for the past 5 years. Sal welcomed us with his kindness and generosity when we moved in next door. We enjoyed talking to him just like old friends; we'll never forget his witty smiles and hearty laughs. Our deepest condolences to you and your family during this time.

Dear Peter, Kristen, David and Stephen,
I was so saddened to hear about your father's passing. I taught school along side your lovely mother, Norma. She used to tell us loving stories about your father especially about his love for baking cookies.
Since I had the pleasure of having all four of you in my fourth/fifth grade classes, I must say that he and your mother brought up four special people. He certainly left a wonderful legacy.
My sincere sympathy on the loss of your father.

Our heartfelt sympathy to Peter, Steve, Kristin and David. Your Dad was a remarkable man who understood the word responsibility to its fullest. He fulfilled his commitments in life without a whisper of complaining and never put himself above the caring of others. His will to enjoy life to its fullest either through travel or his culinary talents was an inspiration for all of us who wondered how he conjured the strength and spirit to move on. Everyone who knew Sal knew Watertown was filled with his love of community, friends and family. We graduated with Sal (WHS CLASS 1959) and will always be proud to say we were fortunate to have him as a friend for so many years.
Our deepest regrets,

Dear, Dear Ciccarelli Children ~ I have known your mom and dad for many years. We were schoolmates at The East Jr. High School in Watertown and at Watertown High School. I want you to know that as young teenagers, throughout their young, middle-age, and older adulthood, they were among the very finest people and most exemplary of married couples I have ever known! They truly lived their wedding vows unconditionally. I remember vividly seeing your dad so lovingly care for your mom during Mass at Sacred Heart Church when she was very ill. His gentleness and compassion was inspirational; and illustrated so beautifully what a loving marriage is all about. Your dad's gentle exterior,in my mind and heart, was indicative of the true core of who Sal Ciccarelli was - kind, compassionate, genuine, sincere, loving and ALWAYS A PERFECT GENTLEMAN. His reputation was impeccable; and his accomplishments and expertise never changed his humbleness - that's one of the attributes I loved most about him. I KNOW HE IS NOW WITH YOUR BEAUTIFUL MOM IN HEAVEN. I pray God will hold them both closely in His arms. May our Dear Lord grant his children, their spouses, his grandchildren, his sweet sister, Rosemary, and all your family strength and courage during the difficult days ahead. My husband, Carmen, and I send our sincerest, heartfelt sympathy and loving prayers.
