Samantha Coughlin Obituary

COUGHLIN,SamanthaA. (Marini) Of Framingham and Wellesley died on August 15, 2010 at age 44. She leaves her 3 loving children, Colleen, Robert, Steven and her husband John all of Framingham. She is survived by her parents, Alex and Lorene Marini of Hudson, long-time residents of Wellesley;her beloved sister, Tammy (Marini) Ducey, her husband Edward and children, Andrew, Kevin, Emily, Brian all of Hudson; her brother J. Campbell Wilson, his wife the Rev. Barbara J. Wilson of Port Angeles, Washington, and many loving cousins, aunts and in-laws. Samantha attended Wellesley schools and the Walnut Hill School in Natick. She was an accomplished tennis player and soprano soloist. For the past few years she had been a school bus driver in Framingham and Lincoln. Samantha fought a courageous 8-year battle with breast cancer. She was an inspiration to all who knew her because of her perpetual optimism and indomitable spirit. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a celebration of Samantha's life on Saturday, August 28th at 11 AM at the Wellesley Hills Congregational Church, 207 Washington St. Wellesley Hills, MA. Remembrances in her memory may be sent to the Jimmy Fund @ the Dana Farber Cancer Clinic, 44 Binney St. Boston, MA 02115.

What a wonderful and brave women, who even while battling cancer was able to be optimistic and focused on her children. She brought a lot to the parent meetings at Resiliency for Life. What a privilege it was to have met Samantha.
