The family is truly sorry to hear of your loss. We know only too well the feeling in losing a sibling and child. We're sorry that we weren't aware of your daughter's illness and passing till now.As family we would have loved to be there to support you. We are here now. Our hugs and kisses are being emailed to you! Please pass them along to Dad aka Charles Professor, Cousin, and Camp Director.

I was heartbroken to hear the news, and am deeply sorry. Visions of Sammy and Becca collecting paper clips and making copies of their hands, faces and feet so they could leave their "footprints" around the office,,, and the puppies and bunnies and all sorts of animals they would bring- are what come to my mind. Although I didn't get to know Sammy very well, I will cherish those memories. I knew she was going places, just sad that she has gone so far. Hold her love dear and hold onto each other. I'll be there......if you need!

I simply do not know what to say. My daughter is also 9. There is no way I could have the strength your family has had. My daughter has met Sammy several times in her dance class this year. There are just NO words that can comfort you right now, because I know none would for me. As I am sure you have been told many times already, Sammy made a difference in this world and has touched many souls. We are unable to be present at her Life Celebration on Sunday as we had previous plans to see Legally Blonde the musical but the girls have made angel pins and are bringing a picture of Sammy with them to the show so she can be there with them and they are dedicating this trip to her. I am sure we will feel her presence there as you will at her life Celebration.
I know I could not have been as strong as you all have been, but I do know she does live on through you.

My cousin told me today about your loss. Her granddaughter went to camp with your Samantha. The reason she told me was that two years ago on September 14th my sixteen month old granddaughter, Samantha Rose died very suddenly from an unexplained virus. It was so coincidentlal that they shared the same name.
I was devastated beyond words when this happened, so to help me in my grieving process I wrote a children's book about her called Samantha Rose. You can see it on the Amazon site.
Her name is beautiful. My deepest sympathies, I have been there, I still am, and please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Losing a child or grandchild is beyond anyone's comprehension. As I go through my Samantha's yahrzeit this week, I hold onto all my cherished memories.

Sammy was such an amazing, vibrant, and courageous little girl. I had the pleasure of doing her makeup several times while I worked at the Clinique Counter. She always new exactly what "look" she wanted, and she had no problem telling me :) I loved sitting her and her mother and big sister down in the chair and making her look like even more of a little diva! I'm sure her favorite part was all the little goodies she got to take home and play with. She always had such a positive attitude, even through the worst times and she constantly kept me laughing. Sammy obviously had quite the fan base, and I know that she will be missed by many! I'm sure she is up in heaven sprinkling glitter all over everything! Thanks for making so many people smile.
