WEINTRAUB, Sara (Liberman) (Gopen) Of Chestnut Hill, in her 101 year, on Saturday, May 30, 2009. Beloved wife of the late S. Philip Gopen & the late Dr. David Weintraub. Loving mother of Sheila Fay Gopen Schwartz & her husband Dr. Charles Ansin Schwartz of Needham, Rabbi Emily Ann Gopen Lipof of Chestnut Hill & her husband Kenneth Henry Kelmenson and the late Michael Lipof, Dr. George David Gopen of Durham, NC, Dr. Ronald M. Weintraub & his wife Margo Howard of Cambridge and Dr. Harold P. Weintraub & his wife Mary Thomson Weintraub of Beacon Hill. Adored Nana of Pamela & Steven Cohen, David & Jane Schwartz, Elizabeth & Tal Cohen, Julia & John Healy, Cheryl & Fred Lappin, Ronald & Andrea Lipof, Mark Lipof, Richard & Janice Lipof, Philip & Juli Lipof, Alexander Gopen, Charles & Ly Weintraub, David Weintraub and GG of Elena, Ethan & Kira Cohen, Emma & Jacob Schwartz, Tav, Neri, Shir & Yaara Cohen, Aidan & Charlotte Healy, Samantha & Max Lappin, Jason, Andrew, Zachary & Michael Lipof, Jennifer & Sydney Lipof, Daniella & Dylan Lipof and Leela Weintraub. Dear sister of Estelle Miriam Liberman Green of NYC and the late Cele Liberman Kanter & the late Joseph Kanter. She is also survived by four generations of loving nieces and nephews. Services at the Levine Chapels, 470 Harvard St., BROOKLINE on Sunday, May 31 at 1:30pm. Burial in Sharon Memorial Park. Memorial observance at her late residence beginning at 7pm Sunday evening and continuing Monday through Thursday from 2-5pm and 7-9pm and Friday from 12-3pm. There will be a minyan Sunday through Thursday at 7pm each day. Please omit flowers. Remembrances may be made to Temple Ohabei Shalom, 1187 Beacon St Brookline, 02446.
