Scott Elkin Obituary

Of Boston and Arrowsic, ME formerly of Wayland died unexpectedly on May 6, 2007 at the age of 26. He was an accomplished pianist in the Boston area. Son of the late Jeremy S. Elkin. Beloved son of Susan D. (Magrane) Elkin of Arrowsic, ME formerly of Wayland. Loving brother of Brian P. Elkin of Somerville. Grandson of Robert Elkin of Mitchellville, MD and Doris Magrane of Clearwater, FL. Nephew of Linda Murray of Lutz, FL and Satya Shepherd of Houston, TX. Also survived by several cousins. Visitations on Thursday, May 10, 2007 from 5:00 to 8:00 PM at the John C. Bryant Funeral Home, 56 Pemberton Rd (Off route 30), WAYLAND. Funeral services at the funeral home on Friday, May 11, 2007 at 10:00 AM. Interment to follow in North Cemetery in Wayland. In lieu of flowers, his family suggests gifts in his memory may be sent to the Scott J. Elkin Memorial Fund, Citizens Bank, Davis Square, 212 Elm Street, Somerville, MA 02144 would be appreciated.

I was shocked to learn from Robbin Rossi that Scott had died. I was so fortunate to havw know him at Claypit Hill while working with Robbin and Rick Colpitts. Scott stood out from the rest because of his wit, intelligence and goodness. Please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers.
