I loved but did not need a reminder to think of Sonia. At least weekly and perhaps more often I think of her. When I need courage, when I am reminded of her gorgeous skin and fashionable clothes, when I need a laugh because the world is too much. I have a cup or roibus tea which I encouraged her to have replacing an afternoon coffee. She told me she had it every day after trying it. I miss her and will always love her. Kathleen Kelley Lockyer

Sonia was a very strong, confident woman. I admired her business acumen and the way in which she brought people together. With her sharp mind and brilliant personality, she had a noticeable presence that could be felt when she walked into a room. John and I are heart broken over Sonia's passing. Honestly, there will never be anyone like her again. She was truly a woman beyond her time, a 'Star'. A mentor and champion to all women. To the Boyajian family, my condolences. I loved Sonia. She was my mentor when I started in the Chamber. She became my friend. She was a pillar to the community. She told me such fun stories she had with my mom, Joyce Munger, that I will treasure forever. What gives me peace is knowing I will see her again. Heaven makes me smile.

I was surprised to read of Sonia's passing. My prayers are with her family and friends. I first knew Sonia as a teenager and then later in life. Her love and support for Watertown was incredible. I will never forget her interest in Watertown's history.

Heartbroken today. Sonia lived and breathed for this community. She was a beacon of hope and inspiration for our independent and small business entrepreneurs. Her voice and leadership will be sorely missed. She was also a loving friend and supporter to me who gave timely advice and a hug whenever I needed it. Her support of homeless veterans was notable and the way she promoted her annual fundraising event was second to none. We will miss you, Sonia.

My Mom, Stassia and Sonya had an unbreakable bond since their school days. We were fortunate to visit with Sonia a couple of months ago at Vicki's home. She was her wonderful self, reminiscing about years gone by. I was heartbroken when my sister Mia called to tell me about Sonia's death. I'm just sick about it. We get caught up in our lives and keep saying I have to call, I have to write, thinking about our dear friends every day but not taking the extra step to keep in touch. I am so sad I never took that extra step and haven't been in touch with Sonia in the past year or so.
I loved Sonia dearly, she was a phenomenal lady and there will never be anyone else like her. She had such a magnetic personality you were automatically drawn to here. I worked for her in the mid nineties and she taught me so much and she was a wonderful friend to me.
My thoughts and prayers go out to Vickie, Peter & the Boyajian family. Sonia's family & friends have lost a phenomenal lady and she will forever be etched in our hearts and our memories.

Sonia was an amazing woman in so many respects. Her loss will be felt in many places by many,many people.
