Sophia E. Soffron

SOFFRON, Sophia E. (Economopoulos) 94, of Ipswich, Sept. 28, 2011, beloved wife of the late Thomas N. and loving mother of Nicholas T. Soffron of Ipswich and Thomas T. Soffron and his wife Roseanne of Exeter, NH. She is also survived by four grandchildren, Scott Prisby of Ipswich, Sean Murphy of ME, Sharon Murphy of MA, Andrea Lee of New York City; a great grandchild; a brother, George Economos of MD; a sister, Maria Creeden of Newburyport, and several nephews and nieces. She was the stepmother of the late Mary Murphy formerly of Ipswich; sister of the late Katina Dedes formerly of F,L and the late Olga Cruz formerly of Newburyport. Her funeral will be held 9 AM Monday, October 3, from the Whittier-Porter Funeral Home, 6 High St., IPSWICH, followed by a Funeral Service 10 AM in the Greek Orthodox Church, Lafayette Road, Ipswich. Family and friends are respectfully welcomed. Visiting hours are Sunday 4 to 7 PM. Interment will be in the New Highland Cemetery, Ipswich.
