Words can never express our deepest feelings at a time like this and for such a loss. Please know that our thoughts and prayers are with Steven, with Kristen, and with all the family.

I'll always remember family vacations in Cape Cod, swimming in the river and freezing in the ocean, walking to the penny candy store, "Chewy Louies", flag rock, Emerson's and red licorice sticks, and being told to "Get with the Program" by Uncle Q.

Steven, you will live in our hearts forever.
Peace and God Bless.

Kristin,
I am so Saddened by your loss. While working with Steve for many years we had many laughs and good times. He was probably the most jolly guy I ever met. When you two got together I can tell that he had changed. He truly found his Soulmate. He was the Happiest man in the World. Memories have been pouring into my mind and all of them make me smile. God Bless to Steve and to you and yours.

I had the opportunity of knowing Steve at Bernardi when I worked there as a driver for a number of summers while I was in college. Steve taught me A LOT about how to work hard, manage people, and excel in difficult situations (especially under pressure). I admired his leadership skills and his genuine care for his employees. Steve would at times come across as trying to be the tough boss, but without a doubt you knew his heart and he'd even go out of his way to make everyone feel appreciated. I've thought about him often over the past years as I'm now in the business world. I've seen him grow in his faith and change as he navigated the difficult issues of life. I will always be thankful for what Steve taught me when I was in school working for him - he was a loyal manager and first and foremost, a friend. You will be missed probably more than even thought.

Kristin... you are an amazing woman. I've been trying to express my thoughts and feelings and find myself speechless. I have been honored to know him... a gift from god that will keep on giving. God bless you. Sending you lots of love from the core of my being...
