Stephen Nodvin Obituary

NODVIN, Dr. Stephen C. Of Brookline, MA died unexpectedly at his home on Sunday June 6th 2010. Stephen was born on February 15th 1953 in Atlanta, GA. He is survived by his beloved daughters Leah and Madelaine Nodvin and his companion, Amber Clapp. Additionally he is survived by his cousin Mitchell Young and family of Amherst, NH; brother Neal Nodvin and family of Atlanta, GA; and his daughters' mother, Sabette Elter-Nodvin of Germany. He will be greatly missed by many friends. Stephen worked with Al Gore's Climate Project and other environmental organizations and had given scores of public presentations on environmental issues including global warming, energy issues, and green careers. He loved learning new things and also teaching and informing people. As an educator, he experienced the joy of inspiring people and making a positive difference in their lives. Donations in Stephen's memory may be made to The Climate Project (http://www.thecli mateproject.org). Services have been held.

Dr. Stephen Nodvin was an incredible educator. He possesed a brilliant mind and inspired so many people. His devotion to his daughters was unparalleled. His face lit up with pride when he shared all the wonderful accompishments of his girls. He will be forever missed but forever in many peoples' hearts. We miss you Stephen.
