TO THIS DAY, I AM DEEPLY SADDENED BY THE REALIZATION THAT DR. BOWRY IS GONE FOREVER. HE WAS A KIND AND CARING PHYSICIAN TO ME AND WILL ALWAYS BE SADLY MISSED AND AFFECTIONATELY REMEMBERED,IT IS GOOD THAT HIS PRACTICE HAS BEEN TAKEN BY SAMEER GAONKAR, A VERY SIMILAR PHYSICIAN , SINCERELY, DANNY SORDELLO, HULL, MA.

Dr. Bowry and my father had lunch together everyday for close to 40 years in the Malden Hospital doctor's cafeteria. Two years after my Dad died both of thier grandchilden were in the same kindergarden class in Lexington.(before we moved to Bedford) When I was fortunate to see him again we both commented on how much my Dad would have loved that connection. I am sorry for your loss as I know what a loving father,grandfather and husband he was to all of his family.I hope the old doctor's are enjoying lunch together once again where ever they may be. I was shocked by the sudden illness and passing of Dr,Bowry, I was a patient for over 40 years and Dr Bowry took care of my Mom,Dad and Sister.
I could always count on advise over the phone and for a call back.
Dr Bowry was a professional and a wonderful caring person.
My deepest sympathies go out to the family.

Dr. Bowry was my Dr., my mother and father and my brother's Doctor for 40 years. From the time he started in Malden next to Dr. Carroll. I am so sorry for your loss and so grateful for the care he gave all of us. Never too busy to answer the questions or explain things. He was a wonderful man.

Dr. Bowry was my physician for about 20 years. I was so saddened when I heard he was ill and would not be practicing any longer. To say I was shocked when I heard today that he passed last week is an understatement. He was a lovely man and a wonderful physician. My thoughts and prayers are with his family.

My prayers go to Dr. Bowry's family and deepest friends. I have known Dr. Bowry since he arrived in Boston from Washingtn D.C. more than 40 years ago.
He was always happy and excited to be practicing medicine yet had such a calm soul..he will be missed.

I would like to express my sadness and sympathy to the family of our beloved Dr. Bowry who will be so very missed at the Davenport Home. Dr. Bowry was such a good and decent man as well as a wonderful physician for our residents.As a nurse here I will miss his wisdom and patience when I called him for advice and orders. By Dr. Bowry's passing on I loose a dear colleague, friend and teacher and the world looses a Great Human Being. There is one more Brightly Shining Star in the Sky tonight. I spoke with him nearly every morning
He started my day on a positive note when he checked in.

When my wife told me of Dr. Bowry's passing, all I could do was cry. I was a patient for over 26 years. He was the most knowledgable, compassionate, kind doctor, and so generous with his time. I will miss him dearly.
