MAUGHN, Tara Marie Age 57, peacefully passed away on January 8, 2025, surrounded by her beloved family. Tara was a wife, devoted mother, friend, and nurse, whose heart touched everyone she met. Born on June 15th, 1967, Tara worked as a registered nurse for over 30 years, touching the lives of countless patients and colleagues. She was an active participant in Westwood Public Schools and multiple charitable organizations. Tara's vibrant spiritual and religious life was the foundation that guided her through each day. Her faith and her ability to lead by example through love and kindness left a lasting impact on everyone she encountered. She is survived by her beloved husband, John; and by her four children, Robert, Catherine, Anne-Marie, and Riley. She is also survived by her parents, Barbara and Gerard Carey of Needham; her brother Mark and his wife Iris of Watertown; and her brother Scott Carey and his wife Robin Avilla, along with their two children, Scarlett and Vivian, of Walpole. Visiting Hours for Tara will be on Sunday, January 12th, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, at the Folsom Funeral Home, located at 649 High St., WESTWOOD, MA. Relatives and friends are invited to gather at the funeral home on Monday, January 13th, at 9AM, before proceeding to St. Margaret Mary's Church, located at 845 High Street, Westwood, MA, for her Mass of Christian Burial at 10AM.
