Theodore Richard Nedd

NEDD, Theodore Richard "Richie" Entered into rest on June 16th, 2011 at a hospice facility in Saugus, MA, after a long illness. His beloved and loyal and longtime partner, Ellen, survives him, along with her brother, Robert B. Hillson and his daughters, Tyler E. Hillson and Abigail Rose Hillson. He leaves his daughters, Helen Nedd (Araujo) of Roxbury and Margaret Nedd of Greensboro, NC, and son, Richard Nedd Fletcher of CA. He also leaves his sisters, Diane Butler and Cynthia Traylor, and his brother, Ronald H. Traylor, 5 grandchildren, and one great-grandchild. He was the devoted son of the late Helen Traylor and loving brother of the late Kenneth Nedd. He is survived by a host of nieces and nephews. Last but not least, he leaves his devoted companion dog, Savannah Belle. Richie was a Vietnam veteran, a correction's officer, and a member of the carpenters union. He had a passion for music and was a highly decorated member of the Mystic Valley Gun Club. He was an original member of his beloved club, The Band of Angels since 1958. He participated in all events including Juneteenth at Franklin Park enjoying the festivities with all his friends who he loved. Having grown up in the West End of Boston, he went on to become a board member of the West End Museum. His remains will be interred at the National Cemetery in Bourne, MA. Burial private.
