Theresa and Bill, one never without the other, wherever they attended a meeting or event. Both Liberal Dem's, fully in line with my own political thinking. Bill had been a radio operator while in service, as had I, so henever he bumped into me, or saw me , he had a standard greeting to me, didy dum dum didy, and I would reply, didah didah. Terry, having her years of experience with the handicapped in the school system, was a person after my own heart, as she well knew.. The two of you have completed your journey, in this our lives. We knew you, understood you, shared happy campaigns together, as well as unsatisfied ones. May your children and grandchildren follow those qualities in both of you that WE, ALL, admired so much in each of you. Thank you for your friendship, and our so many conversation together. I had Miss Burke for 11th grade English and she had the greatest impact on me for a teacher through all my years of school including college. I was one of her weaker students and she pushed me in a way that really thought me how to understand writing better. To this day I credit her for my success in college. I had the chance to run into her a few years ago and finally had the chance to tell her this and it was such a wonderful feeling to share this with her. She may have not been the most warm and fuzzy teacher however she really truly cared for her students and loved teaching!!! Thank you Miss Burke :)
