Thomas Donlan Obituary

Of Hales Location, NH, formerly of Hingham & Milton, died suddenly while vacationing in Florida, February 2, 2008. Beloved husband of Mary Anne (Hartigan) Donlan. Loving father of Sara & her husband Justin Brooks of Nantucket, Brendan Donlan of Brighton and the late Thomas F. Donlan, IV. Brother of Brenda Flood of Norton, Phyllis Arnoff of Portland, OR, and Mary Beth Donlan of Raleigh, NC. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and friends. For 31 years, Tom was a special agent for the FBI, retiring in 2000. For the last 14 years of his career he worked as regional polygraph examiner. Family was Tom's focus and he enjoyed coaching his sons' baseball teams when they were growing up. Tom loved golfing with friends & family, woodworking and biking. He will be greatly missed. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald St., HINGHAM, Saturday at 9 AM. Funeral Mass in Church of the Resurrection, Hingham at 10 AM. Visiting hours Friday 4-8 PM. Burial in Saint Paul's Cemetery, Hingham. In lieu of flowers, donations in Tom's memory may be made to the Cam Neely Foundation, 30 Winter St., 2nd Fl., Boston, MA 02108. I knew Tom since he arrived in Boston. He was always held in the highest regard by everyone in the Bureau. Tom was a kind-hearted, easy-going, hard-working, dependable person. He would always go out of his way to help you. I will miss Tom but I will always remember his smiling face.
