Hello Mrs. Gibb,
I want to express my condolences in the loss of your husband.
His name caught my eye in the obituaries in the Boston Globe.
I believe your father-in-law was Thomas R.P.Gibb, Esq. of
Marmion Way in Rockport, Mass. I knew him as my boss in
the Order of Scottish Clans across from the Old State House
in Boston. I was hired as a typist at the age of 18 and left
after 5 years to raise a family.
Mr. Gibb was a real gentleman in every way. I especially enjoyed
visiting him and his wife in Rockport where he pointed with pride the Scottish heather growing on all the rocks facing the ocean.
I am now 81 and living on a lake in Shapleigh, Maine and really
enjoying my retirement.
