My friendship with Ed goes back to the 1960s in our Corvette days in Massachusetts. We were part of a group of car enthusiasts who enjoyed working on all things related to car performance on the street. Ed was very knowledgeable about cars and a fun person to be with. We spent many a night of comararderie at the Big Burger Ranch in Cambridge, telling stories and comparing the latest modifications to our cars. Those were truly the good old days. Marriage and its responsibilities separated our friendship for a number of years, but we got back in touch ten years ago and resumed our friendship and car talk. Ed was always willing to give car advice and help when asked. Last summer he drove a vehicle that I purchased online from Georgia to my home on Cape Cod. He spent several days with us before returning home. I look back at that now and am so thankful that I had that time to visit with him and the opportunity to bring him back to Belmont to see some of our other friends from so long ago. My deepest condolences to Suzi and his son and grandchildren on their loss.

I have known and loved Ed for 20 years. I have many wonderful memories of Ed which I will cherish for the rest of my life. I am a single mom and Ed and Susi were there for us from the day Jaclyn was born. (And before) Ed was like a father to Jaclyn and when we visited them Jaclyn followed Ed around like a little puppy dog and she used to ask poor Ed a million questions. Ed would try to answer every one of them. When Ed and Susi lived in the Florida Keys the water was low one day. Jaclyn asked Ed why didn't he just fill it up with the water hose! I think that was the only question Ed didn't have an answer for! Ed, we love you and will miss you so much. Love always, Marsha

I met Ed nearly forty years ago and he and I became eternal friends. Our short time as next door neighors was far outshadowed by our decades of sharing good stories and the far too few visits in person. Ed will be missed by all that knew him and forgotten by none.
