I knew Billie in high school and loved her. She went to SJS and I went to Cal and we stopped seeing each other and we made our separate lives. I have continued to wonder about her all these years. We had begun to communicate through email the past couple of years. I knew she had terminal cancer, just didn't know how close her death was.I guess through all these years,I have always loved the memory of her and how beautiful and intelligent and spiritual she was. These last few years, we had gotten know each other, became friends once again and for that I am grateful. She was my first love and I will miss her.

My thoughts and prayers are with your family. Billie made a softly spoken, yet powerful impact on many of us in Gainesville, for which I am very grateful. She was a graceful and beautiful lady and will be missed by many. God's Blessings and Peace to you all.

My deeepest sympathy to all of the Poon family. Billie was so very special to me. I called her my angel, for a reason I can share at a later time. She was so loving, and she was loved by all who knew her. She will be sorely missed, but never forgotten. I know she is with her Heavenly Father and at peace. I love you Billie
