Mr. Root was such a genuine, fantastic guy. I have many fond memories of him coming to our CCHS baseball games ... and of Central Street in the 1980s, of good friends, and Mr. Root's enthusiastic smile. He's in my thoughts. God Bless. - Stephen Loynd

I was greatly saddened to hear of Rob's passing. My condolences to Sue and family. Rob was a good friend to grow up with. He was a big sports fan and taught me a lot about hockey and basketball. I was sorry we lost touch when I left Concord but am happy that we reconnected in the last few years.

On behalf of the Anderson family, we are all saddened to hear of Robin's death. I know that I speak for everyone of us when I say that Rob and Sue were the best neighbors anyone could ask for! Rob was instrumental in helping me get my very first job! He was full of compassion and goodness and he will be missed. Unfortunately, due to prior commitments, I will be unable to attend the wake, but please know that my thoughts and prayers are with him and with all of you.

So many memories..but one sticks out especially..Robin and Sue would come to visit now and again and every time before leaving Robin would walk down to the beach for a dip in the ocean.
I send my sympathy to Sue, David and Jennifer and their families..

I am sad that Robin has left us. He was a wonderful man who loved his family and and fought a valiant fight for life. Robin loved stories of "Old Concord" and would chime in with tidbits of colorful characters he knew over the years. He has passed to soon and my sympathy goes to Susan, David and Jennifer and their families. Rest in Peace, Robin..
