Alice Scofield Obituary
Alice passed away at the age of 102 on January 20,2022. She is survived by her son Lawrence F. Jr. and daughters Deborah Hennessey and Janet Lezberg. She was predeceased by her loving husband of 61 years Lawrence Fuller Scofield Sr. (2003) as well as their daughter Pamela Torpey (2006). Alice was the sweet and devoted Nana to Stephanie Psenicka; Heather Scofield; Erin and Matthew Torpey; Christopher, Jeffrey and Ryan Hennessey; Alexandra Picca and Lauren Lezberg. She was the great-grandmother of seven and the favorite aunt and great-aunt to many nieces and nephews. Alice was the youngest daughter of Annie J. Johns and William R. Montague of Malden MA. Alice grew up in Malden MA attending Malden H.S. graduating with the Class of 1937.
The family wishes to thank everyone at the Arbors Assisted Living in Stoneham MA where Alice had lived for the past 5 years. Donations in her memory may be made to The Arbors Sunshine Fund, 140 Franklin Street. Stoneham. MA 02180.
Mass of Christian burial will be held at a later date. Online condolences may be expressed at bostoncremation.org/obituaries.
