Don was a great friend , a kind and generous person. We had so much fun at the yacht club and on his boat out to the Island. We enjoyed many good times at many restaurants especially the Beacon and Jimmy's Harbourside,
as well as many house parties where Don introduced me to my life long partner Wayne Correa who was a great friend of Don's. Wayne past away 4 months ago, I'm sure he was there to welcome Don home to rest in peace (and party!) We have lost a great friend.
You will be fondly missed.

Dear Phil, Donnie and Family:
Nancy & I have many great memories of Don at the Nichols College events with John G., whether in Kennebunkport, The Towne Line House, Rockport or "On the Hill"! He was a most sincere and generours man. Kristen, Kevin & Katelyn still have the silver dollar he gave them many years back.
May these and many other fond memories comfort all of us in this time of loss.
Don will be missed and loved.

Dear Patty, Paula, Phil and Family,
The Scottish poet and writer, Robert Louis Stevenson once said that, " a friend is a gift that you give yourself." If this is true, then I have surely spoiled myself by accepting Don's friendship of 41 years. I can't believe how quickly the time has passed. Don was truly a true friend and confidant and very much like an older brother. There are so many happy memories of him hosting his backyard cookouts, house parties and of course his numerous dinners at Jimmy's Harborside and the Beacon in Newton. So many of his friends would stop by his hardware store, sometimes on business and more often than not, to just visit and "shoot the breeze". At all times he welcomed you and made you feel happy that you stopped by. he'd always have a joke for you....sometimes, they were pitiful, but somehow you would always laugh. I never knew his father but I did get to know his Mother. He was truly a devoted son and a beloved brother and uncle to his many nieces and nephews. he will surely be missed by all his family and many, many friends. Please accept my deepest sympathy and know that you all are in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult period. Rest in peace, my friend. You earned it!
