JENKINS Madeline J. (Ricciardi) of Watertown, October 17, 2013. Beloved wife of Chester W. Jenkins, Sr. Devoted mother of Chester Jenkins, Jr. and his wife, Jayne, of Salem, Susan Jenkins and her husband, Mike Pyle, of Watertown, Ann Ater and her husband, Robert, of Arrowsic, Maine, Gary Jenkins and his wife, Janet, of Watertown, Diane McClure and her late husband, William, of Tyngsboro, Joseph Jenkins and his wife, Carol, of Watertown, and Mary Jenkins of Tyngsboro. Sister of Phyllis Robillard Magliozzi and her husband, Cosmo, of Waltham, and the late Jack and Joseph Ricciardi. Loving grandmother of Mike and his wife, Zhi, Matt, Jessica, Billy, and Sarah. Great grandmother of Anthony. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Family and friends will honor and remember Madeline’s life by gathering for calling hours on Sunday, October 20 from 3:00-7:00 P.M. in The Joyce Funeral Home 245 Main Street, (Route 20), WALTHAM and again on Monday at 8:00 A.M. before leaving in procession to Saint Luke’s Church, 132 Lexington Street, Belmont, where her Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 9:00 A.M. Burial will follow in Ridgelawn Cemetery in Watertown. In lieu of flowers, contributions would be appreciated in her memory to the Hospice of the Good Shepherd, 90 Wells Ave. Newton, MA 02459 (www.hospicegoodshepherd.org) or to the Eternal Word Television Network, 5817 Old Leeds Rd. I know it has also almost been 6 years but Madeline was like an aunt to me. She and my late mother Helene Dousa knew each other for over 40 years. They were like sisters. I miss them both
Very much and someday I will be reunited with them and all mt loved ones. Including all my dogs. Which Madeleine had the boy wire haired fox terrier and we had his sister. I miss and love them all.
