Phyllis Hayes Obituary

HAYES Phyllis (Grant), age 82, of East Weymouth, passed away at the South Shore Hospital on Sunday December 2. Wife for 56 years of Francis Hayes Sr. Mother of Stephen Hayes of Carver, Robert Hayes of Weymouth, Marion Lauper of Kingston and Francis Hayes Jr. of Mansfield. Also survived by 7 grandchildren. Phyllis was born in Boston, grew up in Dorchester and lived the last 56 years in Weymouth. She was a member of the Church of Abundant Life in Braintree. The Funeral will be at the C. C. Shepherd Funeral Home, 134 Pleasant Street (Columbian Square) SOUTH WEYMOUTH on Thursday December 6 at 10:00 A.M. Visiting will be on Wednesday from 4:00 to 8:00 P.M. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Phyllis's memory to the Alzheimer's Association 311 Arsenal Street Watertown, MA 02472.
